Materials as used by Clayridge Roofing

There follows a selection of the materials and their suppliers that are preferred by Clayridge Roofing. Please note that this list is subject to change at any time and should only be referred to as a guide rather than a commitment to supply the listed products.

GUTTERING

Clayridge Roofing use Hunter Plastics rainwater systems, Swish PVC sustainable guttering and Carlton Building Plastics.

HUNTER

The most popular types of Hunter guttering are the Half Round and Ogee systems.

The Ogee uses a classic profile and is the ideal choice for maintaining character when replacing traditional metal systems. It is compatible with cast iron ogee but being lightweight is ideal as a replacement. The use of Hunter Ogee also offers a labour saving cost over cast iron and aluminium systems.

The Half Round system uses the Hunter Surefit system which offers significantly reduced installation times. The Surefit system allow us to simply snap in the lengths of guttering ensuring speedy, positive location at all joints saving us time and you money. It is ideal for new or refurbishment applications and is compatible with most existing metal or plastic systems.

Ogee is available in either black or white.

Half Round is available in either, black, white, brown or grey.

These come in a variety of styles and colours and are ideal for all sloping roof buildings including garden sheds, gazebos, garages, barns, breeze houses, pool houses, loft conversions and for easy roof repairs. They offer a stylish and cost effective alternative to a concrete or slate tiled roof and from a distance it is often hard to tell the difference. SOFFITS & FASCIAS

SOFFIT BOARDS are the horizontal boards which sit between the wall and the fascia boards to provide a weatherproof finish to the roofline.

Available in three distinctive styles, standard flat boards, pre-vented boards or lightweight tongue and groove effect hollow boards.

The boards are 5m in length and are available in a range of colours and grained effects to compliment our range of fascia boards.

Like the fascia board, soffit boards are available in a variety of widths and soffit joining strips can be used when the soffit depth requires the use of multiple boards.

It is important to allow ventilation to the roof space to avoid the build up of moisture and the damage it can cause. Ventilation can be provided trough the soffit board either by using pre-vented boards of installing soffit vents. Alternatively ventilation can be provided via over fascia vents.

Clayridge Roofing use Kestrel, Swish and Carlton Building Plastics Products for the Fascias, Soffits and Bargeboards we install.
